Aesop’s Fables is a collection of fables credited to Aesop, a Greek slave and storyteller. Animals are the main characters of most stories in this collection, where they are personified. These fables are read to children at bedtime as they each carry a moral which teaches kids valuable lessons.
The concept for this book cover set brings to life the idea of a bedtime story by borrowing elements from bedtime. Thus, the use of the story characters as pyjamas pattern. The color palette consists of pastel to give a cheerful and soothing feeling of the fable. The typography combines a simple sans serif for legibility and a handwritten typeface to make it fun and cute. Each book has a bookmark with the moral of the story written on it, inserted in the pyjamas pocket.
